Jack Lacey-Curtis joined StatisticaMedica as a Senior Data Scientist in 2022 and has progressed to a Biostatistician Level 1 role. Jack has a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence for Medicine and Medical Research and an Honours Degree in Science with a major in Statistics, both from University College Dublin, Ireland. He has completed an accredited level of training in CDISC (SDTM and ADaM) and SAS programming standards as well as ongoing GCP certification since joining StatisticaMedica.
Jack’s study responsibilities comprise the programming of analysis datasets, including CDISC (SDTM and ADaM), interim analysis programming, and providing input into the programming and validation of data outputs (e.g., tables, figures and listings) for statistical analyses. As well as supporting the study team and conducting data quality control activities, Jack is a key creator of programming documentation, validation reports, CDISC documentation and notes to file for programming assumptions. In addition, Jack is a proactive attendee at international conferences. With a background in artificial intelligence for medicine and medical research, Jack has a valuable insight into the potential for AI in the future of biostatistics in clinical research.
