StatisticaMedica will be attending the ERS Congress 2026, taking place from 5 to 9 September at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. This year the congress runs under the theme “United for better breathing: partnership between patients, clinicians and researchers”.
To be clear about what to expect from us: we will not be exhibiting and we will not be presenting. We are attending to meet people — sponsors, CROs, medical device companies and academic groups working in respiratory research — and to have the kind of unhurried conversations that are difficult to have any other way.
Why we are going
Respiratory research has become one of the more statistically demanding areas of clinical development. Endpoints are increasingly composite or longitudinal, missing data is a persistent feature of long-term follow-up, and regulators now expect estimands to be specified with precision rather than assembled after the fact. These are the problems our team works on every day.
ERS brings the people wrestling with those problems into one building for five days. That is worth the trip on its own.
What we can help with
If you are planning a respiratory study, or reassessing one already underway, we would be glad to talk about:
- Clinical trial design — sample size, adaptive designs and estimand strategy
- Biostatistical analysis and Statistical Analysis Plan development
- Data management
- CDISC standards and regulatory-ready submission datasets
- Medical writing
Our work spans the full development lifecycle, from early-stage research through to Phase III and post-marketing studies, for pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device organisations across Ireland, the United Kingdom and continental Europe.
Who you will meet
Gloria Crispino, CEO and Founder of StatisticaMedica, will be in Barcelona for the congress, together with members of our biostatistics team.
Arranging a meeting
The congress week fills up quickly, so the earlier you get in touch, the easier it is to find a time that suits. Use the form below to tell us what you would like to discuss and which day works best, and we will come back to you to confirm a time and a place to meet.
If you would prefer to reach us another way, our usual contact details are on the contact page.
