Gloria CrispinoPhD CStat CMath

CEO and Director of Biostatistics

Gloria Crispino founded StatisticaMedica in 2012 and is CEO and Director of Biostatistics of the company. Gloria has a PhD in Biostatistics and Mathematical Biology from the Institute of Technology (ITT), Dublin, Ireland and a Bachelor of Economics (Statistics and Operational Research) from Bocconi University, Milan, Italy.

Fellow

Tim Grant joined StatisticaMedica in 2014 and worked closely with the CEO to develop the company into a specialised Biostatistical Clinical Research Organisation (CRO). Tim has an MS in Biostatistics from University of Wisconsin, USA, and a PhD in Education Psychology from University of Wisconsin, USA, an MS in Mathematics/Statistics from University of Texas, San Antonio, USA, and a BS and MS in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University, USA.

Anna PozzebonMSc

Biostatistics & Programming Lead

Anna Pozzebon joined StatisticaMedica as a Biostatistician in 2017 and has progressed to a Biostatistics & Programming (B&P) Lead role.Anna has a Master’s in Mathematical Engineering (Statistical Field) and a Degree in Mathematics, both from Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy. Anna has achieved an advanced level of qualification/certification in CDISC and SAS programming standards in addition to ongoing GCP certification since joining StatisticaMedica.

Laura HeatonMSc

Senior Biostatistician

Laura Heaton joined StatisticaMedica as a Junior Biostatistician in 2022 and has progressed to a Senior Biostatistician role. Laura has a Master’s in Statistics from University College Dublin, Ireland and a Degree in Mathematicsfrom Trinity College Dublin. Laura has completed an accredited level of training in CDISC (SDTM andADaM) and SAS programming standards in addition to ongoing GCP certification since joining StatisticaMedica.

Sinead HarrisonMSc

Biostatistician Level 2

Sinead Harrison joined StatisticaMedica as a Junior Biostatistician in 2023 and has progressed to a Biostatistician Level 2 role. Sinead has a Master of Science in Data Science and Analytics from University College Cork, Ireland, and a Degree in Applied Mathematics and an Honours Degree in Mathematical Statistics from University of Pretoria, South Africa. Sinead has completed an accredited level of training in CDISC (SDTM and ADaM) and SAS programming standards in addition to ongoing GCP certification since joining StatisticaMedica.

Jack Lacey-CurtisMSc

Biostatistician Level 1

Jack Lacey-Curtis joined StatisticaMedica as a Senior Data Scientist in 2022 and has progressed to a Biostatistician Level 1 role. Jack has a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence for Medicine and Medical Research and an Honours Degree in Science with a major in Statistics, both from University College Dublin, Ireland. He has completed an accredited level of training in CDISC (SDTM and ADaM) and SAS programming standards as well as ongoing GCP certification since joining StatisticaMedica.

Francisco Almeida PhD

Biostatistician Level 1

Francisco Almeida joined StatisticaMedica as a Junior Biostatistician in 2024 and has progressed to a Biostatistician Level 1 role. Francisco holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Data Science, all from Technological University Dublin, Ireland, and an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad de Oriente, Venezuela. Francisco has completed an accredited level of training in CDISC (SDTM and ADaM) and SAS programming standards as well as ongoing GCP certification since joining StatisticaMedica.

Samuel BermanPhD

Biostatistician Level 2

Samuel Berman joined StatisticaMedica in 2024 as a Junior Biostatistician and has progressed to a Biostatistician Level 2 role. Samuel holds a PhD in Physics, a Postgraduate Certificate in Statistics, and an Honours Degree in Physics from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. Since joining StatisticaMedica, Samuel has completed a comprehensive training programme in Biostatistics practice, including accredited courses in CDISC (SDTM, ADaM) and SAS programming standards, and has ongoing GCP certification.

Brigitte ScottPhD

Consultant Medical Writer

Brigitte Scott is a very experienced freelance medical writer and editor who provides a high quality medical writing service to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, medical and scientific publishers, and public relations and healthcare communications agencies. She has collaborated with StatisticaMedica since 2016. Brigitte has a PhD in Biochemistry from King’s College London and an honours degree in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol. She has over 25 years’ medical writing experience in a contract research organisation, healthcare communications and freelance environment.

Vaishnavi AnandBSc

Clinical Data Scientist

Vaishnavi Anand is a recent Pharmaceutical Science graduate from Technological University Dublin. Vaishnavi completed a research internship in Universität Leipzig and conducted her final year project titled 'Testing for Carcinogenic Impurities in Pharmaceuticals' focusing on detecting NDMA in expired ranitidine using HPLC following ICH and FDA guidelines. During her degree, she studied several statistics modules focusing on Design of Experiments, Regression analysis and Measurement system validation. She is currently interning at StatisticaMedica as a Clinical Data Scientist, developing skills in CDISC Standards, SAS and R Studio programming
